Greetings Vaughan Jiu-Jitsu Academy Community!
We are thrilled to report that last Friday's PA Day Program (November 17, 2023) was an incredible success! With over 20 kids in the program, our staff was able to deliver a quality event for the kids to learn, train and have fun. We started the event with Coach Hirasawa's Martial Arts Session which was packed with excitement and learning as our kids got to dive into the rich history of the Samurai culture. They were exposed to some of the techniques they used to stay trained and battle-ready, and our students were fascinated by the variety of techniques taught.
After the Martial Arts session, our kids were then able to explore the world of grappling, fitness, and secretly train for their black belts with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu lessons. Our students were also able to witness some spectacular Samurai Sword Demonstrations, which left everyone in awe.
As if that wasn't enough, our young athletes also got to engage in a Strength and Conditioning program, combining physical competitions and games, which we found to be an excellent way for kids to learn and stay active.
In the afternoon, it was time for Arts and Crafts, games of tag, obstacle courses, and some good old-fashioned Nerf Gun battles. Our students had the chance to show off their creativity and imagination while also engaging in some friendly competition.
After lunch and snacks, our Martial Arts training resumed as our Kru Ray led a fascinating Muay Thai session geared towards teaching the fundamentals of footwork and conditioning. Our students were motivated by the words of our experienced instructor and had an outstanding time.
The day was filled with fun and learning, and we can't wait to do it again. We remain committed to promoting physical fitness and mental sharpness in our students. Our next school break PA Day Program is already being planned, and we promise to make it even better than the previous one. Thank you for joining us for this exciting program!
